Important NOTE: Be sure to choose the “Special Magnets” version for Granite or Corian type of sink because these have the stronger magnets. Easy to install and remove. No tools necessary. The magnets are placed outside of the sink (under the counter) and the rail is placed inside the sink. The magnets attract each other. They do not stick to the sink itself. The magnets included are intended to be installed on stainless steel type of sink, unless you choose the Grey or Stainless Steel with Special Magnets. They offer a simple solution for hanging Swedish dishcloths in the sink. Not only will they keep the cloths out of sight but they encourage quick drying. The rail is attached using magnets. The magnets included are intended for stainless steel sinks – the magnets do NOT attach TO the stainless sink but 2 magnets are placed on the underside of the sink (inside the cabinet below the sink) directly behind the magnets on the dishcloth rail. There is no need for screws so the rail is easily installed or removed. NOTE: If your sink is made of granite or a Corian type material, extra strong magnets are necessary. For granite or Corian type sink, please choose a rail with “Special Magnets” as these are the stronger magnets.
