It uses your existing deadbolt and turns it into a smart lock in minutes, no hardwiring needed. Your current lock’s exterior hardware stays the same – no additional installation required. The exterior appearance and style of your front door remains unchanged and you can still use your original key from your existing deadbolt to lock/unlock your door as a backup. Users have an additional option that includes turning on automatic door locking after 30 seconds.
