You can put a bar of soap, a shampoo bottle, a razor, and other toiletries on the flat outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you’re showering. When rinsing off the soap, the textured floor will help prevent you from slipping and falling, and the 3-sided tile flange will help prevent water from being splashed behind the shower pan and causing water damage to the wall. This shower pan also has an access door on the front that lets you easily reach your pipes and plumbing shut-offs for simple maintenance and common repairs. Easy Installation This shower pan easily replaces or upgrades your existing RV shower pan or bathtub with a front drain hole setup. Mounting hardware is not included. After the floor or pedestal has been cleaned of debris, set the shower pan in place, making sure the pre-installed foam base is sitting securely and evenly. This foam base supports the shower pan so it won’t crack over time, and it’ll dampen the sound of water hitting the pan floor or when you accidentally drop a bar of soap or shampoo bottle. Once the shower pan has been installed, it is compatible with any standard 2″ drain strainers.
