T28523 8″ Slow-Speed Bench Grinder 1/3 HP Great for sharpening your drill bits and overall grinding. The slow-speed is crucial to reduce heat, reduce friction, and give you more control. The T28523 will sharpen your lawn mower blades, clean up threads on a “cut-down” bolt and revive your chisels, planer blades, knives, and other cutting hand tools. The left wheel is 120-grit and is accompanied by an adjustable tool rest with a V-groove for controlling the angle of contact with the wheel when grinding drill bits. The right wheel is 60-grit with a standard adjustable tool rest to provide a flat surface to rest your workpieces on. The spark deflectors prevent sparks from showering the top of the workpiece and onto the user’s hands. The wheel guards prevent accidental contact with the grinding wheels and contain sparks during grinding. Each grinding wheel has its own independent spark deflector to reduce the amount of sparks spraying back towards the operator. The two safety shields act as an additional protective barrier against sparks during use. The left eye shield includes a magnifier.
