The H2flow FVC FlowVis Flow Meter, for 2″ x 2.5″ PVC is an advanced, affordable, and reliable precision flow meter designed specifically for pools, spas, fountains, and water features. This product is the Complete FlowVis unit with GPM scale for 2-inch and 2.5-inch applications. With a sleek design also comes variable installation configurations. It can be installed right next to other plumbing fittings such as elbows, tees, etc. with little or no degradation in performance or with no effect on accuracy and it can be installed in any position. This unit is a combination flow meter and check valve that provides you with the flow rate of your system. The FloVis reads the flow in GPM’s and includes scales for key velocity points. By knowing your GPM you can dial in your swimming pool pump and allows you to maximize energy savings by slowing a variable speed pool pump to its lowest required speed for filter circulation. The 1.5-inch and 2-inch refer to the difference in the actual flow meter inside based on the size of pipe it is being installed on. You can plumb 2-inch inside or 2.5-inch outside on both the part numbers. The only way to plumb 1.5-inch pipe to them is to use a 2×1.5-inch reducer inside the body on each side.
