Featuring the BL Brushless Motor for efficiency, this rotary hammer is capable of up to 950 rpm and 4,700 bpm, with a 1-inch length on each beat. The Makita 18V rotary hammer also has sequential timing to minimize overlapping bit impacts, a variable speed trigger for matching your power to your workload, and 40 chisel positions for versatility. A torque-limiting clutch protects the tool motor from accidental binds, with a shock-absorbing handle to further protect the battery and casing. The Makita brushless rotary hammer uses STAR Protection Computer Controls to stop overheating and overloading, and the tool’s LXT design increases battery efficiency to allow for longer work sessions. A compact 12-7/8-inch design is easy to handle, with a 7.2-pound weight ideal for long jobs. This Makita 18V rotary hammer is compatible with the HEPA vacuum attachment and accepts SDS-PLUS bits.
