This means the intersection where the wires are attached, the joint, is covered with zinc (galvanized) – suitable for fence to soil contact and long life outdoors. Typically used as chicken coop fencing or to exclude all snakes including baby snakes, moles/voles or the smallest animals. Also great for almost any application where you need to exclude or contain chewing animals. The small opening size makes it difficult for chewing animals to get their teeth inside for leverage with their teeth to chew.
