The Liberty SJ10 Sumpjet Water-Powered Back-up Pump makes sure that your basement is kept dry during power outages. It comes with an indoor alarm that runs at 115V with a 9V back-up battery. It is powered by the municipal water supply so it does not require electricity to operate. However, the SJ10 requires an uninterrupted water source to operate. If you have a well pump, the SJ10 will not operate during power outages. This factory pre-assembled pump has a discharge size of 1-1/2″ NPT and comes with a diaphragm switch for automatic water flow capabilities.
