Mitutoyo 293-831-30 0-1 Digimatic Micrometer

The Mitutoyo 293-831 Digimatic MDC-MX digital micrometre is for taking outside diameter measurements. The micrometre has a measurement range of 0 to 1.0″ (0 to 25.4mm), resolution of 0.00005″ (0.001mm), and an accuracy of + or – 0.0001″ (0.002mm). The LCD screen displays in inches and metric units. This micrometre has a ratchet stop to help provide uniform pressure for precise, repeatable measurements. The measuring faces are flat and are carbide-tipped for durability. This unit turns off after 20 minutes of idle time and can be turned on by twisting the spindle for convenience. Additional functions offered by this micrometre include zero setting and alarms for low voltage and counting value composition errors. The measuring force is 5 to 10 Newtons (N). It has a battery life of approximately 1.2 years of normal use. This unit comes with a SR-44 battery and fitted, plastic case.
