Water will start neutralising the effect so test your mix and application window. *Chemical Treatments react with tannins normally found in Oak, Ash and some other species. The effect is entirely dependent on the tannin content of each individual piece of wood and is therefore highly variable. Rubio Monocoat Oil Finish (or other finish) must be applied over these treatments as they are not finishes and will not protect the wood. Pre-Colour Easy pre-colours can be blended together into any colour combination and can be diluted with water to achieve the desired effect. Pre-Colour Easy and Chemical Effects can be used for hand, site and industrial application.
