Rutland 500-Degree F RTV High Heat Silicone

This Silicone Sealant should be part of any service kit for hearths. The sealant is intended to be used anytime a permanent, elastic rubber seal is required. The sealant will adhere to glass, metal, most plastics, fiberglass, aluminum, wood, brick, and slate and can be used both indoors and outdoors. It requires about 24 hours and no heat to cure. The clear color sealant covers approximately 16 feet of 3/16″ bead per tub. The sealant requires a tooling time of only 5 to 10 minutes and a 1 hour tack-free time.
